Caterpillar CAT 330C

CAT 330C is a C-series 30-ton class excavator for buyers who want a later old-generation CAT machine than CAT 330B, but still want to control purchase cost before moving to CAT 330D2. CAT 330C and CAT 330CL mainly differ by undercarriage; 330CL has the long undercarriage, but its value must be proven by real undercarriage condition and working video. If you are looking at a used CAT 330C, you are probably not choosing the oldest 330B, but you may not want to pay the higher price of a later CAT 330D2 either. CAT 330C is better understood as a C-series upgrade choice: more acceptable than 330B for many buyers, but still a budget-controlled 30-ton class Caterpillar excavator when compared with newer models.
